Remember when we were kids and we all packed into the car and drove around to see Christmas lights throughout the town? For some, that might still be a yearly tradition. This year, we have not been able to gather in the ways we’ve hoped. Events have been canceled or changed, and the holidays will look different for many. Our yearly Glow Owosso Event is no different, we have had to make changes to our activities to keep people safe. We hope you will join us as we draw onto past traditions with this year’s Glow Cruise adaptation to our annual Glow Parade. Take time this Friday night starting at 6:30pm, pack into your car and cruise our amazing community to view all the wonderful lights throughout town. Downtown Owosso will be lit up and glowing like it does every year. We will have a handful of lighted displays throughout downtown. Homes, churches, and even the river are lit up throughout the City. Take time this Friday to explore our glowing community! We have provided you with this simple map to get you started. Next year we hope to gather with you again. #owossostrong #downtownowosso

- Glow Run will start at 9am
- Horse & Carriage Rides will be offered from 10am-2pm
- Local Businesses will be open for all of your shopping needs; come out and find that special something!

Friday, November 27th (starting 6:30pm) Downtown Owosso Glow Cruise
Due to the pandemic, the annual Glow Parade will look different this year. We will be having a "Glow Cruise" throughout the city. We encourage people to decorate their cars in lights and travel along a pre-determined route that will have light installations / floats placed throughout. Participants will be able to stay warm & cozy and view all lighted entries from their cars!
ALSO - Santa will be located at the Armory Parking Lot with a letter drop box where he will be receiving Christmas requests!
Saturday, November 28th: Small Business Saturday & Glow 5k Run / Walk
-Glow Run takes place at 9am
-Horse & Carriage Rides from 10am-2pm
-Shop Local & Support Small Business
Saturday, December 5th (10am-2pm): Christmas Cookie Cruise
Much like the Chocolate Walk, this is a ticketed event that people can take part in. Participants will travel from business to business collection cookies. Horse & Carriage Rides will be offered from 10am-2pm.

Business Owners, Employees, and Shoppers are encouraged to wear ugly sweaters throughout the day!
